Airbnb Experiences

As Market Lead for Sicily (2024–Present), Luca acts as an experiential curator connecting Airbnb’s global brand with local culture. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of high-end experiences (culinary tours, artisan workshops, music events, etc.), ensuring they meet Airbnb’s quality standards and reflect authentic cultural heritage while retaining the ability to become scalable experiential products operating in a global brand framework, translating high-level brand values into on-the-ground experiences – a key aspect of experiential marketing.

Stroboscopic Artefacts

An acclaimed label and platform Luca Mortellaro founded in 2009, known in the global scene for its avant-garde and experiential approach. Beyond releasing music, SA became synonymous with boundary-pushing events and showcases around five continents. Luca’s role as Founder & Managing Director (2009–2019) involved not only running the label (A&R, visual art direction) but also producing high-impact experiential events – a direct parallel to experiential brand marketing, with the “brand” being the label’s identity.

Casa Balat

As Founder & Creative Director, from 2019 Luca led the transformation of a ruined 18th-century masseria into a pilot project of bio-architecture and a model for green renovation.The result is a sanctuary of culture and nature, hosting as holiday space, retreat center, corporate events hub and art gallery with Luca’s role spanning between creative direction, hospitality management, and curation of cultural programming.

Cluster Artists

A Berlin-based booking agency and live-events collective built by Luca Mortellaro around a super-diverse, inclusive roster. It became known not just for artist management but for producing immersive showcase events between European capitals and US ones.
